The Productive Family Organization’s Participation in the “Made in Sudan” Exhibition

The Productive Family Organization for Capacity Building participated in the “Made in Sudan” exhibition held at the Al-Burai Agricultural Exhibition Grounds from March 16 to 25, 2023. A group of productive families participated in the exhibition, and a collective Iftar (breaking of fast) was organized during the exhibition days.
Dr. Khalifa Jaafar, the Executive Committee Chairman of the Productive Family Organization for Capacity Development, paid a highly successful visit to the Ministry of Industry where he met with Engineer Butool Abbas Awad, the Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Industry.

The visit aimed to discuss the participation of productive families in the “Made in Sudan” exhibition. The Undersecretary welcomed the visit and expressed her strong support for programs that support Sudanese society and enable it to live with dignity. She also confirmed her support for all productive families and her efforts to communicate with various parties to sponsor the exhibition, mentioning the Federation of Chambers of Industry and the Jiyad Company.

She also announced her support for the exhibition participants from productive families by providing display screens.
For their part, the representatives of the productive families expressed their agreement with what was discussed at the meeting and expressed their seriousness in participating. The meeting was attended by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Industry, Dr. Mustafa, who delivered a positive speech to the attendees and discussed the need to work according to a strategic plan for quality, sustainability, and the advancement of Sudanese society to achieve sustainable development.
The meeting also discussed the fees to be determined for productive families participating in the “Made in Sudan” exhibition.
All agreed on the need to set a reasonable percentage of fees so that everyone can participate and showcase the bright face of productive families at the exhibition.
The ministry announced that Hall number 3 would be dedicated to productive families for small and handicraft works.
On the sidelines of the meeting, there was a consultative session for the brothers representing the productive families, and everyone welcomed the need for collective work under one umbrella to support family projects and be a front for the group in various forums.
The visit was very successful and was welcomed and praised by all.
