In collaboration with the Imarah Initiative for Human Development, East Nile University’s Community Development Department, and Mashal Institute for Vocational Education, the Productive Family Organization for Capacity Building held a free training workshop for youth on September 12th in Omdurman’s 10th District.
This workshop focused on general electricity, refrigeration, and air conditioning. The goal is to enhance the skills of displaced youth in various trades and to cultivate a skilled workforce that can contribute to the country’s post-war reconstruction.
Notably, these weekly courses cover a wide range of specialties, including:
- General electricity
- Refrigeration and air conditioning
- Plumbing and sanitation engineering
- Leather tanning and leather goods production
- Home gardening
The courses have been well-received and highly sought after by all participants.
