Bint Al Arab Center for Community Service and Continuing Education, in collaboration with the Productive Family Organization for Capacity Building, conducted several training courses in the last quarter of 2023. These courses covered a variety of fields, including home nursing, computer skills, and English language.

The courses targeted high school and university students from ten villages (in Al Rahmabab) north of the city of Al Muttamma. The event was attended by Dr. Hassan Awad Al-Karim, the Dean of Shandi University, and Dr. Sitna Awad, the Dean of the Community College at Shandi University.

Additionally, the program welcomed displaced individuals from various Sudanese states due to the ongoing war. Dr. Hassan Al Rasool Muhammad Ahmed, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Bint Al Arab Center, mentioned that 120 trainees graduated, with 80 specializing in home nursing, 20 in computer skills, and 20 in English language.

Dr. hasab alrasul stated that these courses aimed to open wider doors for obtaining diplomas and bachelor’s degrees, thereby elevating the knowledge and cultural levels of the trainees. This, in turn, would enable them to better serve their communities by maximizing the benefits of such courses in implementing small-scale projects that would enhance their productivity and achieve self-sufficiency.

Additionally, a training course was conducted at the Noor Al-Bayan base, as well as programs for Riyadh Al-Saleheen and the preparatory stage of Taj Al-Hafiz, delivered by the professional trainer Hassan Mustafa. The course was well-received and highly beneficial to kindergarten teachers, first-grade teachers, and Quran teachers in the region.

Moreover, the field of alternative medicine also benefited from these training courses. A course on herbal medicine was held on the 16th of January, presented by Dr. Fatima Abdullah, a specialist in pharmaceutical sciences.

It is worth noting that plans are underway to implement more courses in accordance with the plans and programs of the Bint Al-Arab Center for Community Service and Continuing Education, which encompasses six axes: (1) educational and الدعوية, (2) social solidarity, (3) development projects, (4) healthcare, (5) training and capacity building, and (6) continuing education.
